This month, we need

warm blankets.

To many Edmontonians, January means cold. To the thousands we help, it means a struggle to survive.

Every day, we help turn this around by bringing blankets and emergency supplies to meet our clients’ urgent needs.¬†Your purchase of a blanket helps to provide dignity, hope and survival to over 2,100 people living on our cold, unforgiving streets.

The life expectancy of a homeless person is

The major reason for this shorter lifespan is the constant exposure to the elements. Our outreach workers find many of our Edmonton homeless seeking shelter in tents, tarps, or even holes dug into the riverbank.

Last year, handing out blankets helped over

100 clients

find permanent housing.

With the small gesture of a blanket, our outreach workers build trust and relationships that have lead to helping them find more permanent housing.

Your support saves lives.

You can help keep those in need warm in our bitter winters - and give a little hope.

Thank you

for supporting January's basic need.
