Boyle Street Community Services Youth Unit Drop-In offers programs and services to individuals between the ages of 16 to 26 years old.
The youth that we serve struggle daily to have their most basic needs met. As such, we have an open door policy and welcome all youth to the Youth Unit Drop-In.
Our first goal is to ensure an individual’s basic necessities are met. Then we develop a safety plan that addresses immediate needs, harm reduction strategies, and finally set long-term goals for a brighter future ahead.
Indigenous High Risk Youth Worker:
Our goal is to build healthy, supportive relationships with our youth and begin the process of re-connecting or introducing them with the cultural and traditional teachings of the Treaty 6 Territory by providing access to ceremonies, elders, and community events. We also provide relentless support and advocacy for those youth accessing resources regarding housing, addictions, social assistance, justice system, and any service where our support can be useful.
